Darling fans,

As you may remember, the band’s debut single, ‘If You Wear Trackpants, You Can’t Sit With Us’, was due for release over a week ago. We can’t apologise enough for the fact that this was not the case. Further apologies for not acknowledging the situation until today. Due to legal problems, and ongoing conflict with the management at CatFace Records, we were unable to share our music with you, which, as you all know, is all we’ve ever wanted to do. 

At this point, we are required to share as little information with you about this battle with the record label as possible, as anything we say could be used against us at a later date. Other companies are currently expressing interest, and we’ll keep you as updated as we can throughout this process. 

We are hoping to share something, even a small demo with you soon. We feel that as the truly dedicated fans that you are, you deserve something.

We adore you.

Christmas Songs. Oh dear…

I did a poll of everyone’s favourite Christmas songs. Some random votes, and not enough people voted for my liking.

Here’s what we came up with…

Fairytale Of New York - The Pogues ft Kirsty MacColl: came out on top with 5 votes.

Hoping for snow.

I’m sat here in a cosy room (luckily I’m right next to a radiator) waiting for snow to start falling, after hearing on the weather report this morning that it would. Sadly, it’s yet to arrive. Food is being cooked downstairs and I decided to pass the time by listing my top five songs at the moment.

1) Speechless - Lady Gaga: After seeing her performance of this song on the Royal Variety Show this week, I really got a glimpse of the talent this woman actually has. Although we’re all used to the usual electro-pop sound of Gaga (which we still love!) this song is a different side to her music which I also adore. Listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjcBwoVzVwQ

2) Finders Keepers - You Me At Six: This is one of those moments when a song you once loved finds it’s way back to your playlist. Although this song was released over a year ago and I’d worshipped it back then, I heard the boys of YM@6 perform this on Wednesday night supporting Paramore. 3) Echoes - The Rapture: Recently a new show started on E4 in the UK called ‘Misfits’ and as a fan of most E4 shows, I decided to give it a go. I’m glad I did because it’s brilliant! Anyway, this song is the theme tune and when I heard it, I noticed how catchy it is (especially the guitar riffs!). 4) All I Want For Christmas - Mariah Carey: Because it’s Christmas in six days I decided it was only right to include a festive tune in this list, so I went with my personal favourite! 5) Everyone You Know - Now, Now Every Children: Probaby not everybody’s cup of tea but personally, I think they’re lovely. This band also supported Paramore at the gig I went to on Wednesday and I think more people need to listen to them. Facebook stalkers and wonderful weeks.

As I type, I currently have a creepy 24 year old guy talking to me on Facebook about watching Sky T.V. because he has nothing better to do with his life. I don’t mean to be rude but I’m fifteen years old…? Something is clearly not right there.

Apart from this, I’m a rather happy girl this week. For several reasons….

1) I finished school today for two weeks! Bring on the late nights on msn, waking up at 3pm and walking around in pajamas. YES!

2) I saw my favourite band in the WORLD live on Wednesday. That band is Paramore and I’m actually in love with them. The show was incredible. And I wish to be best friends with Hayley Nicole Williams. (if you don’t know her, shame on you! google her now!)

3) It’s christmas in exactly one week! If you know me well enough, you’ll know that I actually adore christmas. What’s not to like? People buy you things, nobody judges you for eating an obscene amount of food and I can listen to ‘All I Want For Christmas’ by Mariah Carey without getting odd looks.

4) The last and MOST IMPORTANT reason that I’m a happy soul. I realised this week that I have amazing people in my life and I truly am lucky to know you all. You know who you are.

First Day of Christmas Holidays?

I had my day all planned today.

I was going to get up early and watch the new Bones episode. Then, I was going to watch some TV, put the Christmas tree up, do a little housework, and order a pizza. The plan was that by this time, I’d be just about to watch Models, Inc.

Here’s what I’ve actually done;

• watched Bones.

Yup, that’s it so far. I am about to watch Models, Inc. but I’ve still failed my planned day. I’m pretty sure it’s okay, because doing nothing is the point of your first day off. Sleep in and do nothing, right?

I said I’d blog about Bones, and I want to, but I have no words.
It was incredible, it was emotional, it had romantic moments (*squeal*) and it had Emily’s little sister, Zooey (*louder squeal*).

Basically, it was brilliant times.

Now, I’m going downstairs to watch me some trashy 90s TV and a little Gilmore Girls and then I’m going to order pizza and clean. Ahh, the glamour.
